Mercy Ministry

John 10:10 "The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full"  We declare this promise of Jesus over each life God allows us to minister to. By meeting people on the level of their physical and emotional needs, we welcome and usher in the Holy Spirit to reveal man's deeper need for a Healer, Deliverer and a Savior! Because of relationships we have already built with the surrounding community, there is a trust to approach us with their needs and open up their lives to us. We access each need and pray asking God to reveal what He would have us do. James 2: 15-16 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food and one of you says to them "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," and yet do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Evangelism and Discipleship opportunities are forever present because of the bridge connecting HOPE with the community. It is a blessing to serve the poor through the example that Christ set for us. Mercy, compassion and love motivate our steps. As we obediently do our part, God in turn reveals Himself as the true source of life and hope!
